Role of Quanti22 in Installation Grouping

Hi all,

I have been implementing a Consumption Distribution scenario using Installation grouping aided by a  cookbook on the same feature. However, after maintaining the installations in separate rate categories, which were determined with the suitable rates containing the variants to enable the distribution of consumption to secondary installation from Primary installations depending on the consumption of the secondary installation. Now in this case, when I bill the primary installation, it fails while a message is displayed in the log explaining no consumption was obtained in the erchv lines for the secondary installations. It seems the quanti22 variant does not writes the consumption details in the dberchv tables. Can anybody please tell me if any settings needs to be done before the process or any customization needs to be done to solve this problem??

Hi,I think at the operand level you need to select the ERCHV option .

Thanks,

Vikram

Hi Saustav,

I have tested both the scenarios (primary to secondry, secondry to primary) for my client and it is working fine.

please check the order in which you are billing the installations.

1) bill primary installation

2) 2ndry installation.

If you are referring to cookbook in that case you may trying both scenario means  2ndr to primary and primary to 2dry in one installtion grouping only. so both customizing should be in place in data exchange setting primary to secondary and secondary to primary.

Hi Noor,

Thanks for replying. I am attaching the outline of the billing schemas and the data exchange settings I've used for primary and secondery installations with installations having the same move-in date. I am avoinding serial switching, as that would cause me to include the secondary installation register to be installed in the primary installation. In your implementation, have you used serial switching too and does this setting seem right to you?

Hi Saustav,

Installation grouping concept is to avoid serial switching concept, you don't have to use serial switching.

the scenario which you are trying(cookbook scenario) that is combination of primary to secondry and secondry to primary.

I have tested both the scenario but alone.

Hi Noor and Vikram,

Thanks a lot for your suggestions.

Actually the variant control of the second quanti14 in the rate for secondary installation was set to "values overwritten during the update", which when changed to "values added during the update" provided the needed results.
