SAP BPC Support Structure

Former Member

Hi

We are implementing SAP BPC 10 ( Netweaver version ) and am little confused about the support structure. BPC is business driven solution however do we really want users to change  BPF , reports or any other element in BPC or all the changes should be with support team ?
I understand that maintenance of members should be with business however other then that any change access doesnt look a good idea to me.
What are your thoughts and experience for BPC support ? Where do we draw a line between business and Support team for BPC Support structure ?

Request if people can share their feedback on SPC Support structure.

Many Thanks,
Monika

Hi Monika,

One of the advantages of BPC is the independency from TI.

But we have to be careful about that.

Normally some key users can change some objects like workflow, dimension members, reports etc.

Besides execute packages and data imports. However not all users.

Another functions as change dimensions structure, model structure must be executed by TI.
