Universe Folder Access Right only by Admins

Hi,

I have Obsolete list of Universes in one folder. I want that only admin should use it. Since Everyone User Security is added by default, what all steps do I need to take that only Admins should be able to access these Universes.

Anupam,

follow the steps below

1. Make sure that the everyone group is having No Access to your Obsolete folder. If you are getting rights for everyone from inheritance. break it in both the ways(Group based as well as Folder based)

to do this, select the evryone group on that folders user security menu, remove the rights that they are having.

2.Make sure you have done this for all the User/UserGroup having access to the particular folder.

3. try assigning rights only to Administrator group. Now the only group having access to is Administrator.
