Portal 7.3 - Themes - Top Level Navigation Size (Width) - Issue

Hi,

We are upgrading portal to 7.3. I have created custom theme by copy of standard theme and made changes accordingly. Many changes are reflected and fine.

But I have problem with  Top Level Navigation Size (Width). I want to decrease width of TLN.

Please can I know which property value to be decreased in custom theme properties. I am attaching document for reference.

Hello,

The width of Top Level Navigation is based on inline styles, so width is decided based on tab's text size. If you will set width for TLN tabs, then TLN tabs will have an uniform width, rather than having width based on text size. Also, the width of TLN-First Level cannot set from theme editor, you will need to do some customization in the following css file:

com.sap.portal.design.portaldesigndata/themes/portal/<theme_name>/AFP/AFP_ie6.css

Do you happen to know which customizing exactly is necessary for that? I experimented with the css files today and I managed to reduce the sice of the tabs themselves, but not of the surrounding area, so there always remains a padding area...

Hi Shaik,

Did you check the 'Height of Work Center Tab' property under

Content Administration > Portal Display > Theme Editor > Outer Frame of Ajax Framework Page > Top-level navigation > First Level

Yes. Already I have set "'Height of Work Center Tab'" = 5 and less . But width of First Level TLN is not changing.
