Folks,
We have items that are subject to mixed tax codes. I.e. books with a DVD in it. Book is subject to 6% VAT / tax and DVD is subject to 19% VAT / tax. We can only assign 1 tax code to a material. Vendor is invoicing by EDI and specifies the 2 tax / VAT codes.
Any ideas how to cover this?
Cheers,
MZ
Hi,
In such case, create two material codes ie...one material code is BOOK and another material code is DVD.
Now as needed by you, can have one tax code for each material ie..... 6% VAT / tax for BOOK and 19% VAT / tax for DVD.

Since CD comes along with Book and the cost of the CD and Book can not be separated, you can not create purchase order mentioning two different materials, Instead you have to develop Z-tax code which addresses your requirement in toto.
