FMN0 - Changing Commitment item for FI documents

Dear FM experts,

I am trying to correct my FI documents posted with wrong commitment item, now want to change the account assignment with correct commitment item. when I am executing the FMN0 for FI documents am getting below error - Account assignment change with document creation! (Msg No - FMUP127).

Provided the conditions are full filled,

FMDERIVE -  Strategy - Overwrite with new value if new value is not empty

                     Attributes - Rule for line item 1 - Check box ticked for End Strategy

                                       Rule for line item 2 - Check box ticked for all three End Strategy

If I remove any of these conditions my new commitment item is not derived(found through trace). Request your valid suggestions.

I don't think the account assignment can be changed after posting of FI documents. Just try it in this way, change the rule for document line item(OB32), and try to change manually first. If it allowing you to change then you can implement this note and make a mass change - 640908.

In case if it is not working you can transfer the documents from one CI to other CI through manual posting in FSCM module.
