Delivery address is displayed in shopping cart even though the Address number is not maintained in the ADDR_SHIPT attribute.

Hello Experts,

Need some urgent help on one issue,

We are into SAP SRM 7.0 classic scenario, the issue is, in the user attribute "ADDR_SHIPT" Delivery address in not maintained , but when user creates the shopping cart, in delivery address tab, by default it is taking company code address . Can any one help on this issue.

If attribute ADDR_SHIPT is not maintained, address will be taken from company and displayed in shopping cart.

Hi Ricardo,

We have multiple nodes in the org structure, and the above problem is happening with only one particular node. for other node if the ADDR_SHIPT is not maintained, in shopping cart delivery address is not picking and in the PR the delivery address is displayed as plant address.

i am presuming that, If the ADDR_SHIPT is not maintained for the user, when user creates the shopping cart, delivery address will not pick at all . But once we order the shopping cart as per standard functionality in PR document, system will pick address of plant . Please correct me if wrong and also tell me what is the order of displaying delivery address in the shopping cart.

Please advise .

Thanks for letting me know the concept of delivery address . The issue is resolved, delivery address is displayed in the shopping cart because it is mention in the BP number "Address Tab" .

HI Santosh,

The  address that you are referring to is the Organizational Address.

i.e. the Address that is maintained in the Organization to which the User is tagged to.

You can check the same by doing the below:

Go to BP > pass the User's BP > Relations > Select the Organization to which the User is assigned > Click on Display. this would display the details of the Organization that the User is assigned to and in the Address tab , the address of the Organization would be displayed.

Check in PPOMA settings for this attribute for that particular user.. is  it defaulted to company code address.

It is not defaulted to the user and we have not maintained the ADDR_SHIPT attribute at all.
