Hi bpc experts:
I ve set work status with 3 states (state1 --> state2 --> state3), I wonder if it's possible to jump from state3 to state1(default state)? or do I have to go to state2 and later to state1?
PS: I m on BPC NW 7.5 SP12
regards
jav
Hi Jav,
It depends on the work status configuration at the appset level. Say, for state 3, "Controlled by" field has been defined as 'Manager', then once the work status is set to State 3, only Manager will be able to modify the work status, although he can directly bring it back to State 1.
In such scenarios, state1 is Unlocked, 2 is Submitted and 3 is approved, so generally 'controlled by' access is given to 'Manager' only for the 'approved' state. So, only he shall be able to either approve it or bring it back to started or unlocked.
Hope it helps!!

Hi Joe,
If you simply defined 3 states of work status you can select any if you have enough rights.
