Need Guidance: Calculation view or Analytic view, defining counters and calculated measured, consuming views.

Hi Friends,

I have a requirement where we need to display total number of students and percentage of number of students in specific area working on world map. Later on this would drill down to city, state, district level from User level input.

1) In that case here Analytical view or calculation view would be feasible. I am not sure if Analytical view will fulfill this requirement as well as not sure calculation view should be used for this type of calculation.

2) How do we use counters and calculated measured here. Would be great if any document or examples could be given. If I give percentage formula in expression editor(students_work / total_stud ) * 100  it gives no result, at lease in data preview. It shows 100 for each row.

3) Is it possible to see final result in data preview of calculation view for calculated measures and counters. Or only after consuming these views it would be possible.

4) Once view is completed, should we consume it in Xcelsius? through IDT, Universe and WSDL  or any other method can be used.
