Receiver service cannot be converted into an ALE logical system

Hi there,

Encountering some ALE issues:

Our scenario is as follows: Flat file->File adapter->XI->Idoc adapter->R/3.

Error : Receiver service cannot be converted into an ALE logical system

We've config the following on XI:

1) IDX1 - port for R/3 system : Port = SAPDEV and RFC dest = DEVCLNT620

2) In the SLD, config the R/3 backend system using the logical system : EDIPORT2

3) In the Integration Directory, on the sender system (file adapter) I've entered the ALE name (EDIPORT2) ie. on the business service, goto the menu option Service->Adapter-specific Identifiers and mention the ALE configuration information details.

4) Communication Channel:

File sender (Business Service_

Idoc Receiver (Business System)

Rec dest & port as config using IDX1

On R/3 backend:

1) Logical system = EDIPORT2 client = 620 (trans SALE)

2) Partner Profile = EDIPORT2 with the respective idocs.

The mapping is fine. No Idocs are received in the backend R/3 system.

Can someone plz assist.
