Missing HTML MIME formatting functions in SAP portal while creating a document in KM repository in netWeaver 7.3.

Hi ,

I have an issues with creating a document in portal KM repository. The issue is

HTML MIME formatting functions in SAP netweaver  portal 7.3 are not visible . I have searched for help in SDN blogs and google , but din^t have the correct answer for this problem and I need to post here for the correct answer.

Navigation:

Content Administrator -> KM content -> root -> 

Select a repository and

Folder -> New -> HTML File

I can only see the font options for BOLD, Italic and Underline the text.

But the document opened do ot have other font options such as  preview, cut,copy ,paste, text style, text size, background colour, insert image, insert link and few other options...

Please do let me know what is correct solution. We have alredy set the bellow parameter as per the http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/a6/181b09bcc7fe4389c8c17d2ad849cc/content.htm

Supported Mime Types for Editing

Yes

Specifies the MIME types that can be edited online. By default, these are text/plain,text/html,text/xml.

Hi Maruti,

Have you checked the HTML Editing Settings in the KM configuration? Navigate to System Administration --> Knowledge Management --> Content Management --> Utilities --> Editing --> HTML Editing.

So we have set the second option Allow Only Basic Formatting . It has worked for us.
