BAdI CRM_DATAEXCHG_BADI

Hi Everybody !

I have made some implementations to this BAdI but they seem not to be processed. I have activated all methods and the implementations too. Does anybody know the reasons ? How can I debug these codes ?

Thanks a lot in advance.

With best regards

Peter

    Hi Peter;

    This worked for me in CRM 3.1 so it may not apply now, but it may get you pretty close:

    1.1 Create and save order in CRM

     Enter transaction CRMD_ORDER

     Create or change a sales document

     Enter in the command field “/h” and press enter

     Save order

    1.2 Mapping from API to MBDOC and triggering the middleware flow

     Set breakpoint at function module “CRM_UPLOAD_BUS_TRANS_MSG”

     Module contains BADI (CRM_DATAEXCHG_BADI~CRM_DATAEXCH_AFTER_MBDOC_FILL) for modifying BDOCs

     Module ‘CRM_UPLOAD_BTMBDOC_FILL’ is called which maps data from API to BDOC

     Press F8

     Set breakpoint at function module “CRM_UPLOAD_BTMBDOC_START_FLOW”

     Sends data to all registered recipients (eg. R/3, BW)

     Press F8

     Press F5

     Set “lv_in_updatetask” from “X” to blank

     Push button “Settings” and set the flag “In background task: Do not process

    Transaction ID”

     By doing this the outbound queue is stopped for the order and it’s possible to debug the queue

     Press F8

     The order is now saved and the queue is stopped

    Good Luck;

    Brant

    Break points does not work with this BAdi. Please put the Break point in the source code. example : BREAK <USERNAME>. Then it will stop there. Good Luck.
