Actually the error is coming on Z-screen and we are not getting error message no. only the error is displayed class type 023, object class mch1 object name ........due to which we are unable to confirm production order.

Please check have assign correct characteristics value in material master in classification view. IF you have classifications the production order then check characteristics assignment there for value.

Also you have use some custom development could you please check the same with ur technical consultant.

Check the batch characteristics

i think there were two batch characteristics created with the same name or two characteristics were assigned.
