Hello everybody!
What would be the "standard way" of providing a user with a context help in a Web Dynpro?
I would like to offer the user a link that opens the help for the corresponding Web Dynpro in a seperate window. Additionally there should be the possibility to search this documentation. The first is easily possible through static HTML files but the latter would require server side support.
Is it neccessary to install the Knowledge Management component for this?
Are there any services or iViews readily available maybe?
I would be glad about any hints.
Thanks a lot in advance,
Matthias
hi,
either you can upload the files into the KM or you can put the documents as html pages in the server and give the path to these files as link.
thank you.

Hi Matthias,
If you want to provide static links then you can always use "Help.sap.com".
Create a LinkToURL and give the reference as "http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/a5/1a1e3e7181b60ae10000000a114084/frameset.htm" which will open standard WebDynpro help in another browser.
