EWA alert not getting generated in Qaulity and Prod system

Hi All

I am facing a strange issue.

I have configured a Solution and have defined the logical components and systems of my landscape.

Somehow EWA are generated in Dev but not in  Qau n Prod...

Please help me out.

Hi

I have checked for both the links already. I have followed the same process.

I have also checked for RFC it is also created and working fine.

But I do noticed one thing:

SDCC_OSS this RFC is not there in RFC destination in task specific. This RFC should be created by SAP automatically. But it is not.

Please suggest.

Also Maintenance task is not scheduled in both the systems.

Hi Saurabh,

it is strange, the SDCC_OSS created automatically, while sdccn activation

not sure where you stuck, seems missing some basic things too. better delete the service session and recreate it based on this note SAP Note 763561.

google it for the document "ativating the SAP EarlyWatch Alert onSolution Manager 7..."

follow that step by step .

Hi ALL,

Iam also facing one issue with PI system ewa configuration.
I created solution and added logical component to the solution and activated EWA but EWA alert not generated.
NOte: we are doing for PI-001 client is it right process to do it...??
if no why NO...

Hi Vijay

I can help you with initial check that should be performed:

Please run report-

RTCCTOOL in your managed system. This will give you idea of what all is missing for EWA configuration.

Though My issue is not resolved by this. It might help you.

Hi Saurab,

Plz check the settings in Transaction SDCCN of the Task ID you are created and check for the Back RFC as in the below Image. Most of the time the EWA fails to generate bcoz for missing this Back RFC.

you need to trouble shoot where it exactly stcuk.

please follow the guides here, and try your end where it is missing
