CK40N costing and analysis

what is the difference between steps Costing and Analysis in CK40N ?

I found this link but is not clear the steps costing and analysis do

Hi,

Normally costing will give us the information on if the Materials are costed successfully and the corresponding results. Analysis will give us more information on costed results. We can use different variant to see the results.
