SOAP to RFC input format for DATE field

Hi All,

I have a scenario where I am sending the data to a BAPI "BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_CREATE" from a 3rd party tool. The scenario is SOAP to RFC using PI.

My question is there any particular format that is present for sending the data from 3rd party to RFC BAPIs ?

This is more a BASIS/Technical question..

But it will dependson what hardware/software is between the 3rd Party software and SAP...

One of our processes sends XML documents to SAP XI, which then converts the data and calls the BAPIs.
