Set BI launch pad start page using default settings

Hi all,

I'm working on a SAP Bo BI 4 installation. I'm verifying how to set a default start page on BI Launch pad for let all users see a custom workspace that I created. In particular, I'd like to set in each user preference the setting "Use Default Settings (Administrator defined)" and change the default home tab.

How can I set the custom workspace for every user that uses default setting?

Thanks for sharing this.

In our project, we set preferences (Mainly Homepage) at user group level for different groups. Suppose if a user is member of 2 groups, both having different homepages configured to them, which homepage will be visible to user when he logs in. As administrators, can we select the preferred home page somehow.

Did you solve your question? I'm in the same situation and in develop environment I'm having one home page and in test environment I'm having other home page, so I cannot get a conclusion for it.

Not sure it's achievable.However, check :

it may help achieve what you want indirectly.
