Query View Showing Weird Messages in Web Reporting

Former Member

Hi Experts,

We are facing a problem in web analyzer. The issue is as follows.

- Open Web analyzer

- Choose Open View

- Navigating from 'History' to 'InfoAreas' tab

During this navigation, we got messages stating that

Components XXXXXX (version A) do not exist on the database.

Kindly help on how to get rid of these messages.

If you need any explanations, do holler at me, I'm happy to elaborate.

Thanks in advance.

H

Hello Harish,

What I understood from your message is Component XXXX is being deleted from databse but it was used in some other view .

Can you try to find that view where the component XXXX was used ?

Can you search Meta data repository to find component XXXX.

For example If I create query view using 2 queries and one query is deleted view will get disturbed and it will through  the message as above.

I Hope it make sense !!

Thanks

Hi Deepak,

Thanks for taking out time for my issue.

Let me clarify you a little more.

The error message is like

Components XXXXX (version A) do not exist on the database.

Components XXXXY (version A) do not exist on the database.

Components XXXXZ (version A) do not exist on the database.

Components XXXXA (version A) do not exist on the database.

Here, XXXX* are  DSOs, which is available in our environment.

This issue start to happen only after we created a view on the DSO XXXXX.

I deleted the view created on XXXXX. Still the problem exists for the remaining components.

For the remaining components, there aren't any queries or views build on it.

Hi Harish,

Can you use Se14 and put DSO active table name and click radio button with Activate and adjust database?

You can do this with one DSO first and disconnect from frontend and login again and check if that DSO name reduces from list, if success then proceed for others.

I found similar threds hope it helps.

Hi Deepak,

Unfortunately, we do not have authorizations for SE14 in production. Also, the DSOs are active for a long time without having been modified anytime in the past.

I looked at your threads before posting, but of no use.

Thanks.
