You may create a reference equipment using IE01 first. Then you can create n number of equipments using IE10 similar to the reference equipment. After wards, you may use IH08 to list and edit individual equipments.
What you can do is to create an equipment with all the master data required. Then through IE01 when you want to create another equipment with same data set then provide the earlier created equipment number in the reference equipment field and you can create multiple equipment of this type.
If you want a program to create equipment you can use "BAPI_EQUI_CREATE" to create equipments.
