Same part number to multiple destinations

Hi gurus....

Im facing an issue with my current warehouse. I have same part number going to multiple destinations, this is OK except for the LABEL. I have a specific label printed from Production (attached to each pallet and even attached to each individual box inside the pallet) that mention where I should deliver this particular pallet.

For SAP and WM , the destination information is not mantained or at least I cant find a way to store this and during my picking relate this information with the final destination.

Have any of you experience something similar?....any SAP functionallity that might help?....a Z transaction will be difficult to justify.

Any help will be appretiated.

you can have your own form, where you can decide what all information you want to print. You can attached this form in print control and then from production you can print this form. You have to specify some logic for destination in form

Hi Kamal, pallets arrive to warehouse fully labeled, this label contains the Destination to be delivered but same part number can go to different locations, since is same part number, my picking logic selects the oldest quant (according to FIFO) but I cant find a way to store DESTINATION INFORMATION prior to picking. Hope this clarifies my process.

Hi you can not achieve this from standard process, you have to use exit to achieve this. As you mentioned same part no can go to different location, you can have a printout at the time of picking which will contain the new destination location, this you can paste on pallet.

Im finding hard to justify a custom development for this, client is expecting to use standard procedure, my first approach was to relabel after picking but this is a huge implication due resource and time constrains. Thanks for your valuable input.
