IDOC Exception in IDOC_AAE Sender (JAVA Only Installation)

Hi,

I'm facing issue with IDOC Sender Channel. In ECC, Idoc's getting failed in SM58 with Error 'IDOC Exception Occurred'. In NWA, below error traces are available,

[JRA]ResourceAdapterImpl.sendDirectToMdb, Error: com.sap.conn.idoc.IDocRuntimeException: IDocException occurred

[JRA]handleRequest(), exception sent to client: IDocException occurred, CONVID=22717439

[JRA]serverExceptionOccurred. Server XI_IDOC_DEFAULT_PID, Managed_Application_Thread_30, connectionId=1-10.242.196.218|sapgw04|XI_IDOC_DEFAULT_PID, Exception: com.sap.conn.jco.JCoException: (104) JCO_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE: IDocException occurred (raised by system XXXXXXXXXX|a_rfc)

IDOC Receiver Channel is working fine, we can able to Send IDOC to ECC. In Sender Channel only we are facing issue. Could some one help me on this issue.

Hi Baskaran,

Go to RFC Destination in sm59 at sender and set Unicode (MDMP and Unicode) as enabled.

It works for me.

Check for the Metdata in PI system,

If everything is fine,Try restarting the channel.

Still problem persists create a new channel or do some dummy changes and re-activate the channel.

  I got the same error and I solved with a fake modify on IDOC_AAE Sender Channel.

Hi Baskaran,

can you check the destination, which is pointed to the PI sytem (SM 59 in ERP system). You should be able to detect that destination in WE21.
