Hello
We are attempting a full BO 4.0 SP4 FP03 (fresh) install on our "to be" production server and are encountering serious issues. Issues are summarized below:
1. Our CMS and AUDIT database reside on a 32-bit SQL Server 2008 R2 installation. The installation process creates the requisite tables in CMS db, however, refuses to connect to the AUDIT database. In fact, the ODBC connection to both of the repositories tests out just fine and uses the same SQL userid. The error we get when we try to configure the audit database is as follows. The DB server has plenty of disk-space and we are scratching our heads as to what might be the problem here.
Validation Result
Warning:
Database access error. Reason [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Could not allocate a new page for database ‘AUDIT_DB_40’ because of insufficient disk space in filegroup ‘PRIMARY’. Create the necessary space by dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup…
Cannot verify DB login information. [INS00104]
Would you like to correct them?
2. We decided to go ahead with the install with just the CMS db (the idea was to go back and revisit the AUDIT db after the installation) and we let the process run overnight and this morning we see the Tomcat and BW Publisher Server ..... There is no SIA!!!
Any ideas as to what the problem might be? Is it the 32-bit DB repositories? TIA

Hi,
I would recommend you to use 64 bit ODBC or the client connectivity to the SQL database and then test the issue.
I hope it helps.
