Hi

while the costing run with CK40N or CK11N, for FG and SFG ,all raw materiel are costed with their statistical standard cost.Costing view for those materials are maintained with "No costing " indicator and also w/o "Qt. structure". In the costing variant valuation strategy is:

1. MAV

2. Standard proce

3. According to price control indicator in material master

Despite these settings the system takes the standard price for all raw materials.Any idea what can be the reason for this.

Thank a lot in advance.

Hi,

For a material with sub-level material, if you cost that material with ck40n or ck11n, the standard design is to cost the sub-level material first and roll-up till the top material. In this process, if you run

in update mode(ck40n) or save the cost estimate(ck11n), the sub-level materials' cost estimates will also be saved.

For the mark step of ck40n, the saved cost estimates will also be marked. If you want only the header material be marked (released), you can try to use ck24 to mark(release) the single material.

If you select a material for costing, system certainly creates a costing for it, even when material has v-price-control. If you want to avoid it you have to set 'no-costing = X' in costing view.

Materials could be selected for costing in step selection and with structure explosion. If you cost with ck40n you can avoid step structure explosion but not in TA ck11n.
So, if you want exclude raw materials from step 'costing' you can only set flag 'no costing' in costing view1. Then system do not create a costing (KEKO-entry) for it, but value will be considered
in halb- and fer-costing.
If you want also avoid, that value is considered in higher costings you can set 'not relevant for costing' in bom-item.

regards
