Hi Gurus ,

I am trying to understand time evaluation .. please guide ....

Time Evaluation with Clock Times

1.Can you please explain the meaning of  time balances  generated during time evaluation?

2.What are the time wage times generated during time evaluation?How are the used in Payroll?

3.Time accounts generated during time evaluation ?

4. If no Time Evaluation is executed then how are the Quota generated ?

5. If Time evaluation is executed without clock times then from where is the time data picked and how are quotas generated ?

Hi,

We can run time evaluation for both positive and negative management.For this we can use Schema TM04 this schema can be used for evaluate actual times and to generate only quotas.

Positive Time management :-

If we want to evaluate actual times (means positive time ) First IT0007 Time management status should be 1 and IT0050 should be maintained, where employee clock-in/out ,breaks, absences, attendances will be evaluated.

At this time , time evaluation will generate the based on the rules time balances where we can store the balances in a Time types as day balances and monthly balances etc these will be maintained in V_T555A table.

We can pass the Overtime balances, Late coming , LOP directly to payroll using Operation ADDZL.

For generating of absence quotas there are ways to achieve it .

RPTQTA00 for these quotas types Time evaluation is not required directly we can update it from IT2006 , or PT_QTA00 or from SE38-RPTQTA00.

Even we generate the absence quotas from TQTA schema , but if you are using this schema in IT0007 , Time management Status should be 7.This schema normally we use to generate quotas only , not to evaluate actual times of an employee.

Hi Ankita,

Create a time type by using the table V_T555A table , if you set the time type in base entitlment, that day balance is stored in time type.

if you run the time evaluation by using the PT60 , check the TES  and ZES tables.

SALDO- cumulate the day balance

You can create the time wage types by using the table T510S and rule you can write ADDZL,

when you run the time eval, you can find out the the no.of hours under the ZL table.

you have to configure one wage type and assign it in rule,

ADDZL<WT>

4. If no Time Evaluation is executed then how are the Quota generated ?

you dont have time eval, should be maintain the TMSTA = 0 and permit generation of rule, in that check the radiobutton"No generation".

Go to se38, enter the prg name : RPTQTA00 , run the quota generation and quotas are stored in IT2006.

5. If Time evaluation is executed without clock times then from where is the time data picked and how are quotas generated ?

you mean that -ve time mgt, should be maintain the TMSTA = 7 or 9 and permit generation of rule, in that check the radiobutton"Increase".

Run the time eval by using the tranx PT60 or RPTIME00 , and use the schema TM04.

Quotas are stored in IT2006, and also check the tranx : PT50
