The only option i find is related to a the saprouter.

Bue the saprouter right now is not an option. The idea is to use the proxy already installed on the costumer.

Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance

You can install saprouter on any computer with real ip address. This may be your proxy computer. Download it from SAP service marketplace. You does not need to buy saprouter software

Install a saprouter is not an option right now..

We are at this client (a bank) on a prof-of concept and the only way to connect to internet is trough their proxy rigth now.

I know that i can test the  SAPOSS connection on the tx=SM59 without setting up the saprouter and that´s what i am trying to accomplish in order to do this in order to use transactions like SNOTES

The problem rigth now is that if i configure the proxy on the host (running RHEL 6) with the environment varible "http_proxy", then the oracle database because the sql*plus uses that enviroment variable too..

so, there is a place on the SAP system to specify the proxy to be used on connections like SAPOSS?

Thanks in advance,

Sabin

Hi Sabin,

Read, http://service.sap.com/saprouter -> Connect to SAP -> Technical Prerequisites -> How to establish Internet Connections

Thats will give you an overview of the possible options.
