QAAWS error on Microsoft OLAP Cubes

Hi Experts,

I am on BO 4.0 SP2. I have created a universe on Microsoft SSAS 2008 OLAP Cubes. When I create a report from Rich Client it works all fine. But when I use QAAWS for Xcelsius I get the "getdocumentinformation Exception Database Error WRE 99998

"Error : (CS) Unable to bind to Network Layer Object" IES 10901".

Both server and client tools are on BO 4.0 SP2 level. Universe connection works all fine.

Any idea?

But now I get this error "  the database sql generation parameters file could not be loaded. (MS Analysis Services 2008, OLEDB, OLAP)".

Do you think its because of that only?

Hi Abby,

Please try to create the same report using WeBI, I believe you will again get the IES 10901 error.

Firstly, get that resolved as one of the possibility for that may be the incompatibility between 64bit application and its corresponding 32-bit drivers.

Thanks for your reply. Yes using Infoview, I get the same error but not with the rich client.

How do I resolve this? I mean I am using OLEDB for OLAP. Yes for ODBC we need to run odbcad32.exe from syswow64 folder, but for OLEDB??

Hey Abby,

Even I am facing this issue as of now, in my case I am not able to start a few services here.

For a start you can check if all the OLEDB for OLAP relevant services are running or not ?

Yes Abhishek, I am able to create new universe and run report using Rich client without any issues.

But the problem is coming when I am trying to use QaaWS or Webi(InfoView). I need to create dashboard thats why using QaaWS.
