reverse stock unrestricted to quality. ud has not done

Dear QM Guru,

my user has done result recording  after that they want to post material in block stock but by mistake they posted to unrestricted , but he did not do UD,

now suggest me how i will  reverse unrestricted to quality.

kindly suggest me

Hi,

Use user exit QEVA0008 for reversal of stock posting. Then you can reverse the stock from Unrestricted to Quality Inspection Stock.

Then you can move the stock to Block stock or direct return to vendor.

If possible , just cancell the Material doc. it will auto updated . Mean to say cancell the MIGO doc.

If you want return through Quality Way then you must create a notification t-code QM01 with notification Q2 type with reference to material document and PO through which it was introduced into the plant.Then you can transfer stock from Unrestricted to Block and Create Return Delivery with the help of Action Box of that notification .

there is another option, move stock to quality again by using 08 inspection type vai movement type 322. an inspection lot will be created, now u can return the stock to vendor w.r.t PO no.

You can post it to block stock from unrestricted. Use MB1B with 344 movement type.

Actually all materials are rejected, and want to do reverse to the vendor  but by mistake they posted in unrestricted,

Hi,

If your material is rejected then do as suggestde by Mr. anand , take the material again into the quality via 344 mvt type and then repost it into blocked stck, or directly post to vendors strg location for its return.

No problem here Akil! I try to explain bit more!

1. Accidentally your user posted the stock to unrestricted instead of block
2. Using 344 movement type you can post the stock to block stock from unrestricted
3. This fulfills the requirement of stock being in block stock compartment.
4. You can still send the material back to vendor through MIGO return delivery from block stock. Choose stock type as Block
5. Consult with you MM consultant for returning goods to vendor through block stock.

I think this should suit your requirement.

1. Otherwise you need to implement note 175842 for stock reversal.
2. Using this note you can reveres the material document specific effect and stock would be posted back to quality from unrestricted, (as if you posted nothing from inspection lot)
3. Now the lot is open and you can post either to block or return delivery in QA32 as per the case.
