Consumption of PRT Material

Hello Everyone

I never worked on PRT scenario .so please guide me how to maintain in routing ? how to consider the consumption of prt in routing ?

My scenario is MTO . So i created 1 PRT say as drilling tool this tool is maintained in routing with base qty 1. but this tool may be used more than 4 order .so  how we maintained consumption. so cost of that tool also added in costing

Please explained with example . my concept is not cleared regarding PRT

Hi,

You may define this PRT as an equipment and assign it to the routing. Maintain counters for each equipment to count usage by confirmation/order etc. Once a specified limit is reached you can prevent confirmation of orders and have PRTs consumed out of inventory.
