Add-on Registration

Hi,

I created an add-on for SAP B1 2007 version and works fine for Win 7/XP platforms, but pops an error message for windows server 2008 64-bit.

The error message is "Could  ot load type  'sapbouiCOM._IApplicationEvents_WidgetEventEventHandler' from assembly 'Interop.SapbouiCOM,Version=8.0.0.0',culture=neutral,publictoken = null'".

Even i renamed SM_OBS_DLL in %trmp% folder.

Please help me .

Thanks in advance

Hi Ravii,

     Please check this simple tutorial.

You should always set the Active Solution Platform to x84

Hi Ravii,

There might be a problem with your SAP Client. Did you try to re-install your SAP Client and DI API?

Thanks for your suggestion, i am not permissible to re-install .

Is there any option to sort it out?

Hi Ravii,

Have you compiled your application for 32bits? You have to force the application to be compiled for x86 architecture in order to use it under 64bits environments.

Thanks ,

I compiled it for X86 in 64 bits system.

Do you mean to say that i have to compile it in 32bits?

Hi Ravii,

No, actually if you compiled it in x86 that is perfectly fine.

Have you tried re-installing the Client application on that particular machine?

Because if it is working on the other machines it is most likely a problem with the assemblies (different versions, corruption,...).

Good luck.
