Application Parameters YTD to Montly in EPM 10 NW Version

Hi All,

I am trying to find the Application Paramters for Conolidation Application where the source is from ECC(Montly Balances) and NON-SAP files with YTD format.

Initially I tried to have YTD set up for my Cons Cube. But busiens would like to have Monthly balances upload istead of YTD.

I am not able to find the Applicatin paramters in BPC 10 for NW. Appreciate if somebody throw some light on this.

Also, The approach I would like to take is, take ECC Data as it is and for NON-SAP Balances(YTD), I would like to load to BW and calculate the difference to derive the current month.

Any comments ? Please...

Hi Nagendra,

This setting is available in the edit model interface. If you edit some model, you will be able to see the parameter - "storage type".

Yes, your understanding is right. That is approach for calculating the periodic data. However, before making this decision, check the pros and cons. If the requirement is only to see the periodic values in the report, this can be achieved by changing the measure to periodic.

Hi Nilanjan,

I don't you can change the storage type of cube once its been created. I think its possible in 7.5, but not any more in 10.0.
