thanks for your reply but i think that can only be done through QM module through UD. i want in normal course of action if possible how it can be done.
You don't need QM module implemented to do that movement. Just do movement type 344 using MB11 or MB1B, (just do not enter anything in Iss. SLoc. once you go into the item screen, just hit enter). When you want to use that stock just use 343 to make it unrestricted.
You can transfer the stock to the storage location where you can authorize few people only for stock posting and retrieving from this and by this also you can achieve your requirement.
