Line Item Reports / Planned costs

Hi,

I've configured WBS structure so the user can plan costs for work on a network level, this network its always attached to a WBS element which act as a cost collector for the project.

Now, i understand from the manual, that networks do not create line items, but i was expecting planed costs to be shown on the transaction CJI4 on a WBS element level. Since the WBS element usually collects all the costs from the network below.

This planned costs aren't shown when i run the line items report.

Is there any way I can make this happen?

If i cant the only thing I can think of its to plan directly on the WBS element but since this process is mostly manual it might end up being to slow for the user.

    Hi,

    Maybe i  can give you some advice.

    Fist you should assign a user status to WBS, which the business transaction "plan line items" is assigned.

    Then you can use CJ40, there is a check button when you go into the plans by Cost Element. It should distribute your plans and post the line items.
