SAP ERP 6.0 EHP5 as ABAP KERNAL UPGRADE

Hi,

    we have installed SAP ERP 6.0 EHP5 as ABAP recently .As In Post Installation process,we are trying upload the latest kernal(Which are SAPEXEDB_300-10007271.SAR and SAPEXE_300-10007272.SAR).After that ,we are trying to start the server but  sap sid shows yellow color and diagonistic id(DAA) shows green symbol in MMC.what is necessary steps to take resolve this problem(how we can get all are in green state in MMC).

Open up SAP MMC and drill down to Process List and see which processes are Yellow.  This would give you more information...

disp+work.exe (Dispatcher)

msg_server.exe (Message server)

igswd.exe (Watchdog)

Check AS ABAP WP Table, make sure that all WPs are in Wait Status.

Check syslog and see if you have any error there.

Dear Ramesh M,

It seems like something is not working correctly.

Can user logon to the system? Is it up adn running?

Check the logs in the work directory

(dev_disp, dev_w0, stderr.....)

for any error messages and post the error here.

Also, check if running

R3trans -d

completes sucessfully, if it fails, post the contents of the trans.log which gets generated.
