check remainig shelf life at the time of goods issue

Dear Gurus,

I have one problem that when i am going to issue of goods with movement type 601, then system is not given me any

error message while goods is expiry in next 3 days.

For same material, if i do the goods receipt against purchase order then it will give the error message like shortfall of 03 days of material.

For this i have maintained below settings.

1) Remaining shelf life in material master is 10 days.

2) Maintained 01 against all movement type in OMJJ in which i want shortfall error message.

3) Also do the settings in OMJ5.

Execute OVM1 where you try by changing the Message Type to "E" for VL-203 or VL-450.  Still if the system allows, have a look at the following note:-

go to OMJJ, 601 Movement type , here movement type details at entry control tab , the field Check SLExpir.date, here you maintain the 01, this is only trigger at goods receipt time only, not for goods issue time,

when you can press F1 , that particular field , then you have under stud

Dear Bojja,

It is already maintained 01 in OMJJ.

But my actual requirement is that message will come at the time of goods issue like at the time of VL01N --> Post Goods Issue.

Have you any idea ?

Actually i require message at the time of goods issue while stock will going for expried in next few days.
