Hi all,
I have a funny problem here hope someone can here.
I have put in the company logo on all my layout using Layout designer, it appear perfectly fine initially but then i have a revised logo files due to colour issue but both file names are the same. So i went into the share folder to remove old file and replace with my new logo files and hoping that it will be working exactly like before.
But after replacing the files, go into layout designer, although the file name appear at the logo field, but it just doesnt appear when i preview. I have tried removing the field and recreated with another picture field and assign the file, it just doesn't appear anymore for all my layouts. Even i have select the file, the layout just doesn't save the file. Anyone have any idea? Thanks in advance.
Hi use a BMP.

Daniel

Hi All,
Thanks for your help, i have managed to resolve the problem using either one of these 2 methods:
1. Resize the JPG file
2. Use BMP file
But i found something funny with JPG file, original file that is working fine is having same size as the second file that i replaced, but somehow second time when i put the JPG file it just doesn't show up until i resize it then only it show the logo.
BMP file size is much bigger size than JPG file but is working fine.
Thanks all.

Hi,
You may try like this:
1. Change to a different file name.
2. Change to a different file type such as bmp.
3. Check the file size and picture size if the above steps not working.
Thanks,
Gordon

Check with the Following.
The picture path in the General Setting
Administration -- System Installation -- General Settings -- Path -- Picture Folder.
Also check can you able to view the Logo on

Hi Kennedy,
yeah path have been selected correctly. As for the co. logo, not all logo can put in there as there is limit on size, not sure the max size. I think this place only allow for a small logo as mine, is the full company name with address so it cannot fit in here.
But before i have overwrite with new file, it was working fine, i have never put into co. logo here.
