Bonus Calculation Issue

Hi All,

I am trying to calculating the bonus for separated employee through PC00_M40_BONS - Batch program for Bonus. Syatem is calculating full month even the employee separated in mid of the month.

Scenario:

Manual Calculation:

Employee worked: 110 days (April 30 + May 31 + June 30 + July 19)

Basic: 16650

Annually: 199880

199880 * 110 / 365 days = 60213 rupees

Factor: 8.33%

60213 * 8.33% = 5016 (Correct value)

SAP Calculation:

Employee worked: 110 days but its taking full present in July means 122 days

Basic: 16650

Annually: 199880

199880 * 122 / 366 days = 66600 rupees

Factor: 8.33%

66600 * 8.33% = 5548

I tried in the forum to get the solution but no clue on mid of the month separated employees.

Hi

I guess even the Bonus amount is paid fully to the Terminated Ee, the bonus wage type might be having the PC-10 -1 which will take care of pro-rate basis in payroll based on his Employment status.

PC-10-0 is there for bonus WT, my question is if employee leaves in mid of the month, do we have to pay the bonus for full month or it should be prorata based. because system is not calculating prorata based. Thats the only issue.

Hi Bhairava

If you can change the bonus wage type PC-10-1 then system will take care of the payment.

I could not remb the bonus program payment logic , So I suggested changing the Bonus wage type PC will get you the right calc in payroll compuation.

As the user will see the payslip and not the Info records, So this might solve you problem

Hi

When you are computing the bonus the base wage type must have PC10-1 and in that case you do not req the bonus wage type to have 10-1.

try these two options and it will work

I tried with both the ways but its calculating same.

Anyhow customer has given new logic now to calculate the bonus, I am going for development.
