Hi Mandy,
As suggested by Aram , make sure you have made those changes in Pricing profile of the article. This will enable you to Set sales price for each variant. With this setting you can maintain sales price directly for each variant from the article master. You can do this by going into the master data of the generic article, in the sales view, in the tab below you can set prices for variants yourselves.
Best,
Vikram

Hi Mandy,
For Variant based pricing (separate price for each variant), go to VK11 & use condition type VA00 then enter the variant ant rate accordingly.
Hope this helps.

Hi Mandy,
You may also ensure that the variant is not having any Pricing Reference Article(Article master - basic data) assigned to it.
Also it is worth to check if the Generic Article is created with no other specific Pricing Profile(Article Master - Basic data) especially it should not be equal to 2 which means All variants have the sales price of the generic article.
Hope it helps.
BR,
Aram.

Hi Manday,
Once you enter sales prices, at the top you can see a check box save sales price conditions, enable it. Then press Enter and go back...then your Sales prices will come into effect

hiiiiiiiii vikram,
if u want to give diff.price for varients first u go to article basic data of an article in pricing profile feild choose 1 it means the varients of genric article.not have the same price of the genric article and if u want to give same price what the genric article is having choose pricing profile 2 it means all the genric article varients have the same price.and after doing this go to purchasing tab go down of the page click varients it will show u the purchase price matrix here u choose the rule first and then give diff.price for each article.or when u want same price no need to go matrix just choose pricing profile 2 system take same sales & purch. price of genric article for each varient like same u go to sales view click on varient and maintain the diff.sales price for each varient.

Hi Nikhil,
If you select 1 in pricing profile, by default system picks the Price of the generic article if you havent maintained different prices and leaving it <blank> will mean you have to maintain diff prices for variants. In Mandy's case she can have it Blank so that it becomes easy for her to maintain the prices.
