1.What is the PDCE
It is Product Design Cost Estimate. It is a lifecycle costing tool, which has intensive integration with other modules/products, i.e SD, MM, CO, PLM, etc.
2. Where we install PDCE SEM /BW / BI
PDCE is included in IDES downloads, and is available in any SEM-BW installation.
You can deploy PDCE together with other modules in one logical server, or setup a standalone server just for it. You will need a BI system to get the required metadata.

You can setup multiple pricing strategy, getting prices from various places, including SD.
You can use PDCE to do cost analysis before giving quotation to your prospects. You can implement user exits in SD to get cost from PDCE and use it in your pricing conditions in SD
