Compatible SRM/SUS Business Package for Portal 7.3 ??

I would like to hear from you if you have been involved in such an implementation or , may have some idea on it.

I am currently looking to install SRM and SUS BUsiness Packages in our landscape. The System versions we have are as follows -

EP Server - NW7.3 SP04

SRM Server - SRM 7.0 EHP2 SP 10

Is the above combination valid, or there might be any compatible issues. Also I am looking to to know the compatible SRM/SUS Business Package versions need to be downloaded, the version/build number.

Appreciate if anyone can share his experience or point me to some SAP note

Best Regards

Sandip

Thanks Madhu, Aviad

We installed the BP SRM and BP SUS COLL4.0..However looks like there is some issue with the SUS Coll business package. The SUS Applications are deployed on Portal, but I dnt find any SUS related roles in Portal..Bit strange..

Seems only the supplier applications made it to the Portal, but not the Portal Content for SUS..We installed the following SUS BP

SP00 for Supplier COLL. 4.0 NW7.3

Any pointers why the Portal content may be missing? Is there any other sca file to be installed?

Appreciate your help.

Thanks

You need to install one more SCA - SUPPORTALCONT00_0.sca

Hi Sandip,

Thanks for posting your answer here, it really helped me. I had the other problem, I was missing the SP00 for Supplier COLL. 4.0 NW7.3

Can I ask where you found that in the download center?

Thanks,

Simon

P.s. just to add to my confusion is this note

https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1821496

which says the Supplier Collaboration Business Package isn't supported on NW 7.3....???

Hey Simon

Finding the SUP Bp is bit tricky, just do a search with the name "Supplier COLL. 4.0 NW7.3" once you login to service marketplace/swdc -> search for support packs and patches

marketplace layout is clumsy, they should fix it with a simple navigation.

On the support, I didnt have any issues installing this busiess package on 7.3..the installation went smoothly..Just keep in mind, once you install the BP, you also need to install the SCA file which I have mentioned above. you should be fine then..not sure why the note says its not supported.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Sandip,

Yes the only way I could find it was via the search too, I could not find it by browsing in the Business Package content area... very strange... and hard to find!

Thanks again,

Simon

Hi,

Even I am unable to locate the following SCA file for SUS  as mentioned by Sandip in the service marketplace - (SUPPORTALCONT00_0.sca)

Can someone please verify the file name of the above SCA.

Hi Anurag,

As mentioned by Sandip above :

just do a search with the name "Supplier COLL. 4.0 NW7.3" once you login to service marketplace/swdc -> search for support packs and patches

you will be able to find it easily.

Hi Ashish,

I am able to find "Supplier COLL. 4.0 NW7.3" in the market place but I am talking about the other SCA file that Sandip has mentioned in his marked answered.

"for those who might be interested in this thread

You need to install one more SCA - SUPPORTALCONT00_0.sca"

Hence, please let me know if only "Supplier COLL. 4.0 NW7.3" SCA is sufficient for SUS Business Package or is there any other SCA also required.

I believe that there is some typo with the name of the SCA "SUPPORTALCONT00_0.sca" and Sandip actually means  "Supplier COLL. 4.0 NW7.3" SCA file only.

Request you to please validate the same.

Anurag

Hi Sandip

Can you please take a look at wiki page for EP/SRM combination.

http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/SRM/SRM+Related+Components+per+SP+Stack

Recently, I worked on SRM upgrade on NW7.3 / SRM 7.0 combination and we don't see any computability issues.

Thanks.

Thanks Madhu

The Wiki is updated till SRM 7.0 EHP1..I am looking for information on EHP2.

Did you have any EHPs on your SRm system..What were the version number of the BUsiness Packages you used for SRM/SUS - if you can share that would be great.

Thanks

Thanks Madhu

Does it have the SUS content as well, or need a separate SUS business content?

Hi Sandip,

I think separate SUS business content is required. BP_SRM doesn't have SAP supplier services.

Can you please check below link, if it can help.
