Overwrite data in Z TABLE

Hi Team

My current client has a requirement , that, the data in the Z Table has to be overwritten for every 40 days . My question is, how can it be set up in such a way that on the 41st day , it deletes the 40 days data and updates with the 41st day data and it goes on .

Also, how to log which ones are old and new ?

Appreciate your reply on this !

Thanks

Sravanthi

    HI Sravanti:

Delete old data form Z table can be done throug simple custom program to delete data and which can be schedule in batch job : T code: SM36 for atumatic processing.

If your BASIS activate table log for Z table you can see the change history but If data volume is large I would recomend backup data can be store in a diffrent table.

You can talk to yoru ABAP consultant it can be done easily.

    Thanks,
