    HI

    HI Yves Ngoma,

This issue probably occurs due to the fact that the SQL server Native client is not installed in the client's workstation. When installing B1 with SQL 2005 or 2008, It is required that all the client machines have the "SQL Native Client" component installed on all the client workstations before starting with the B1 client installations.

Please refer to SAP note : [1015229|https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1odSZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=1015229].

To install Client what are the Prerequisites u should know first

    1).Windows Installer 3.1

    2).Dot net Frame works 1.0,1.1,2.0,3.0,3.5

    3).Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)

    4).Install Client

    5).Crystal Engine

if your system has all these installed files then ur system runs successfully

    Regards

    Kennedy

    Hi,

When you run the newly installed B1 client first time, you always need to change the server and refresh to get database list.

    Thanks,

    Gordon

    hi Yves,

you may also check you current database Server, you may check in the dropdown list, the usual choices are

    1. MSSQL_2008
    2. MSSQL_2005

note that the display in this dropdown list will depend on what version of MSSQL is installed in your Database Server.

try also to use the refresh button.

One more thing. you must make sure that the client machine can connect to your Database Server and License Server. you can use the ping command to make sure that your are connected.

    regards,

    Fidel
