SNP Forecast Customer-Specific Split

Dear all,

got an issue regarding the the SNP Forecast. We have got different locations with different products and a particular forecast. Is it possible to divide this daily/weekly location-forecast into its specific customer future-demands and to display them? Meaning that we can see which client and the corresponding demand generate the whole forecast?

Or do I have to change settings at the planning book that this specific data can be displayed at the SNP Plan-Overview?

I already read something about the disaggregation function, but it seems that this function will not solve the problem - or I definetly misunderstood something

Hi, not quite sure with your requirement. Do you mean that you want to release DP forecast to SNP with other characteristic values except for location and product? thank you very much for your answer! I am sorry, if my question was not as precise as it should be. For me it is important to know the specific values of the individual forecasts of each customer in each location regarding one product. At the moment there is only one forecast for one product at one location consisting all clients. But the online help gave some hints like "create forecasts for individual customers".

Since your description of the scenario MAY only be partial in terms of end to end business processes involved, I can only advise you to please review the below link on the use of descriptive characteristics (DCs) and evaluate it for yourself.

Like Ada mentioned, essentially, descriptive characteristics are additional characteristics from the DP MPOS that can be used to release the DP forecast to SNP.

And, yes, your initial thoughts were on the right track. Use of DCs actually involves disaggregation.

In your case, if you have  customer / client as one of the characteristics in the MPOS, then you can see the forecast dis-aggragated by customer or client and also release to SNP at that level.
