Multiple sales Organizations.

Dear Friends,

Can we create multiple Sales organizations which are not legally registered. Our client has one corporate office, which is legally registered and operates various business like Mobility, Cloud and web solutions under the same registered office.

Now can we create individual Sales organizations for Mobility, cloud and web solutions in SAP?

Please suggest.

Yes you can because from SAP point of view,  for legal aspects, Company Code is a valid one. Having minimal sales area or multiple sales area are purely based on business process but it is recommended to have minimal sales area.

Hi Dayananda,

you can create individual sales organisation for different business, but instead of sales organisation you as well can create different divisions for the particualar business under one sales organisation.

from Dayanand words there is no need of registering all the three organizations as these sales org represents the company code is legally registered.

Plz let me know any changes

Dear PPIO,

Referring the above document it says"Each sales organization represents a "selling unit" in the legal sense".

Wherein in our case the other areas Mobility, Web solutions are not individual separate entities. Its is a part of our corporate business.

please clarify.
