Hi Experts,
I am trying to transport WPC content from one EP 7.3 system to another EP 7.3 system. I have created a KM Transport by adding the WPC custom Areas created under the Staging Area. The .KMC transport file is created successfully when I exported.
But while importing it into the target system I am getting "com.sapportals.wcm.repository.AccessDeniedException" error for all the resources under the WPC Areas (created under Staging Area).
I have SuperAdmin, Area Management roles and also given "full control" access to my userid, on "Portal Content" (root folder).
The generated import report shows the below errors ---------
Aug 21, 2012 10:40:05 AM Error 1. Error: Cannot import resource "/pccdesign/SAMPLEArea" (com.sapportals.wcm.repository.AccessDeniedException)
Aug 21, 2012 10:40:05 AM Error 2. Error: Cannot import resource "/pccdesign/SAMPLEArea/SAMPLE_HomePage" (com.sapportals.wcm.repository.AccessDeniedException)
Aug 21, 2012 10:40:05 AM Error 3. Error: Cannot import resource "/pccdesign/SAMPLEArea/SAMPLE_HomePage/wpc_SAMPLEarticle_1344266157680" (com.sapportals.wcm.repository.AccessDeniedException)
Aug 21, 2012 10:40:05 AM Error 4. Error: Cannot import resource "/pccdesign/SAMPLEArea/SAMPLE_HomePage/wpc_SAMPLEarticle_1344443781436" (com.sapportals.wcm.repository.AccessDeniedException)
Aug 21, 2012 10:40:05 AM Error 5. Error: Cannot import resource "/pccdesign/SAMPLEArea/SAMPLE_HomePage/wpc_SAMPLEarticle_1344454244553" (com.sapportals.wcm.repository.AccessDeniedException)
Please share if you have any idea what more access is required.
Regards,
Ramesh.

Hi Shrikant,
Thanks for the reply. Under portal content, only the Webform Template iviews are created and hence we can only transport these iviews using normal portal transport. I am more concerned about WPC KM content and WPC KM configurations transport.
Besides these iviews there is lot of other WPC contnent in KM (related to the webforms) like -- WPC Areas, WPC Pages created under Staging Area of . I am trying to transport the Areas and WPC pages at first using KM Transport.
Also I would like to know how to transport the KM Configurations like --- DocumentTypes, ResourceTypes, references to XSL and XML configurations in Styles etc..
The link you have given looks like broken.
Please share if you have any clue to tranport my work to the other box, The big issue is the current working system is going to retire in 3-4 days and I should transport my work before that happens.
Regards,
Ramesh.

Hi Alex / Shrikanth,
I fixed my issue.
For those who are looking for solution to a similar issue....
1. Transport the auto-generated Transport Pakage (a seperate TP is generated for each WPC area) at the Portal Path Portal Content Transport Packages WPC Transport Packages Staging Area.
2. Transport the Shared Content, if any, used in that WPC Area using KM Transport.
3. Transport any Portal iViews used in the WPC Pages, using normal Portal Content Transport.
Regards,
Ramesh.
hi Ramesh,
In WPC for 7.30 there is different transport procedure than the one in 7.0.
The content is transported in 2 stages, first you should transport the portal transport package of WPC. It contains all of the pcd objects like pages,Areas and KM snippets like articles and others, that are not shared.
The second stage is to transport the shared KM resources from Global Shared Content("/pccshrcontent") used in the pages, via standart KM transport .
The official documentation is located here
