FPM standard button Personal Profile

Hi All,

I have created a configuration of the personal profile application.

When you open a detail screen, you have the standard buttons on top: Save and Back, Save, Cancel.
We have the scenario in two different languages, FR and NL.
When I open the scenario in FR, button "save and back" is displayed correctly in FR.
But when I open the scenario in NL, "save and back" is displayed in FR.
When I open the configuration in NL, I can see the button has the wrong language. When I go to details and change it to NL, it is ok in the NL version but has changed in the FR version.

In other words, it seems that I can only have one language for this button, which is strange since it is standard.

Anyone has any ideas ?

Thnx

Hi Jan,

I have just answered another SDN-member regarding translation of FPM configurations:

The texts which are stored within the FPM configuration context - as in your case the text for the save button - are directly connected to our translation process. This means that those texts can be found in your system in transaction SE63 object type TLGS. The affected object name is the objectkey, e.g. <R3TR WDCC Configurationname           00>.

With Configuration name is the Floorplan Configuration meant you are
using, just have a look into your application configurations or within table TADIR.

For further information regarding translation of FPM applications in general, please also have a look into note #1646142.

Please check within SE63, whether your texts are stored correctly for the languages described above. How do you "change" the configuration being in NL? Please try to use parameter sap-language=NL and add it to your application-URL to make sure that the language indeed has changed - this is to make sure that not the browser language is considered.

What do you mean by "When I go to details and change it to NL"? Probably you have done the change for NL within the french configuration?

Best regards,

Julia
