Error when editing Personal Information

Hello,

In ESS (Employee Self-service -> Overview -> Personal Information -> when I try to edit the Personal Data and Addresses & review it, I get the below error message (screen shot attached for the errors)

Data record 000301950002 9999123120111013000 has grouping value "" instead of "0001"

Data record 0003019500061 9999123120070301000 has grouping value "" instead of "0001"

When I make the changes from backend there is no error. What is the cause of this error? Where is the configuration missing?

Help appreciated.

Thanks,

Padmaja

    Hello Padmaja,

as already stated byNot Active Contributor Yugandhar Reddy, this is due to data inconsistencies with the new infotype framework. please read through the whole note.

In order to resolve your issue, please follow the below steps (as mentioned in note 783499):

    • set the flag CCURE PC_UI in table T77S0
    • run report RPUFACECPRFN (adjustment of T582G from T582A-CPRFN)
    • run report RPUFACEVIEKN (adjustment of P0003-VIEKN in accordance with the IVWID feature)
    • run RPUFIXDS (correction of possible inconsistencies in the PSHRD-GPRVL field)

    Best regards,

    Mona

      Hello,

I have tried by with and without the flag set, and then running all the reports.. It works in both the cases.

I have one Question do we need to remove the flag set CCURE PC_UI in table T77S0 once all the reports are run?

Do we need to run manually all the reports in each of the systems (Development, Ouality and Production).

      Thanks,

      Padmaja.

The error is due to data inconsistency & can be fixed by running the report RPUFIXDS for the pernr.

Follow the instructions in OSS note 783499, to prevent the inconsistencies from ever happening again.
