RFC connection not being generated for SAP CPS

Hi,

I am trying to connect SAP CPS build M33.61-58986 with Solution Manager 7.1 SP 05. Since the release is higer than M28 so the note 1265635 is no longer applicable.

I tried to create an RFC connection through the report "RAGS_SETUP_CPS_CONNECTION " but I am not able to create the RFC through that report. The page for the RFC information opens but when I try to "save and close" it does not work.

I there any other way to create the connection between Solman and SAP CPS or any way to create the RFC?

Regards,

Vishal

Hi jansi Rani,

The SPRO link which you mentioned asks to run the report which as i have mentioned in the original message is not working.

Also the note for BAE 1265635 is for the version M28 of CPS and no updates have been provided ther for the M33 version. The note asks to add a parameter to the BAE process server which has been discontinued since M28.

The link you specified also has the same note mentioned which has not been updated since March 2009.

Hi jansi Rani,

Do you have any idea about the "SAP Inbound" connection?

For M33 release there is a new note to be refered no: 1729766. It says you need to create a "SAP Inbound" connection in Global partition for the free of charge licence.

I am not having the "SAP Inbound" option in the "Enivronment" section. According to one of the EGI screenshots it should be just below the "SAP" system addtition option in the "Environment" option.

Do you know how can I get the option of creating the "SAP Inbound" connection.

Regards,

Vishal
