Migration of Inventory

Dear Experts,

We are trying to migrate inventory balance but system giving error that "Invetory Cost of Material is missing on date 31/12/2016".

Please note that we have migrated inventory as on 01/01/2017 and we have set posting date for migration 31/12/2016.

Can you please let us know how to upload inventory successfully.

Hi Sujeet,

As the error states, you need to maintain the Inventory cost for the material as of 31.12.2016 in the Material master.

As discussed with you, the error is due to material and inventory cost for the material are maintained as of 01.01.2017. You are able to migrate the inventory once you change the correct dates for the validity of the material.
