BPF Approvals

Hello Experts,

We have a requirement that all planning from each area should be approved in three levels by : coordinator, manager and director.

Our idea would be to use the BPF for linking all the activities (planning submission, approval 1, 2, 3), but we are uncertain of how to make it. What would be the best approach for the approval steps?

Regards,

Pablo Lupinari

Hi Pablo,

The usual approval process in BPF is only limited to 1 level.

So, if you want 3 levels of approval, then you will need to have these as separate steps in the BPF, and you can integrate the work status with this. This means that every level of approval is going to change the work status.

Hope this helps.

I created 3 different work status, and forced the user by bpf to change the work status as an activity. It´s not the ideal solution, but works. Thanks!

Hi Pablo,

The usual structure of BPF has only one level of review. However, if you need to have different reviews, you need to have them as steps, and probably, you can integrate it with work status to have more control over the data.

Hope this helps.

Hi Pablo,

Are you using BPC MS or NW?

You will have to integrate work states and work status to offer an additional level of intelligence and integration with your company's process.

Have you mapped out your process already?

Thanks,

John
